The benefits of Chip + Trace

Low cost peace of mind, secure in the knowledge that if your vessell is stolen it can be traced

Hard to find minature chip provides a secure identification with its unique 10 digit tag number

The position of the Chip is known only to the owner

All details uploaded to The Watch List when theft occurs

All Members of Chip and Trace will receive an email informing them of the theft

All vessell details including photographs of boat, owner details, address and contact details stored on a secure password protected online database

Watch list is viewable to all including Law Enforcement Agencies and Harbour Authorities

Your boat can be traced by its unique identification tag and you can be contacted

You can change the colour, sails, interior of a vessel, but unless you know the exact position of the Chip (which is extremely unlikely), you will not be able to change the proof of identity.

Local authorites can scan the area where the chip lies and identify the boat is yours

At present, most Authorities have these scanners and we will be issuing them to Marina Operators & Harbour Authorities as required.
